Let's go deeper on the 5 ways we block our intuition.

We are all intuitive to some degree, but sometimes our intuition can be blocked. Let's explore 5 ways this can happen.

  • The first is having a busy mind. When you are constantly thinking about the past, worrying about the future, or being self-critical, it's challenging to access your intuition. Yoga, meditation, or other practices that help still the mind can help.
  • The second way that people block their intuition is by not being present. When you feel ungrounded, spacey, or unfocused, it's challenging to access your intuition. When you are grounded and focused on the present moment, you can develop greater access to your intuition.

  • The third way that people block their intuition is through strong emotions. When you are experiencing intense positive or negative emotions, it can be difficult to access your intuition. Emotions can be distracting, and they can cloud your ability to perceive things clearly. When you are in the midst of an emotional storm, it's best to wait until you feel calmer before trying to access your intuition.

  • The fourth way that people block their intuition is through having no space. When you are constantly busy or distracted, you don't create space for your intuition to emerge. Sometimes you subconsciously don't want to know what your intuition is telling you, so you don't make space for it. To overcome this block, you can create space in their lives for your intuition to emerge. This could mean taking a break from social media, spending time in nature, or engaging in creative activities.

  • The fifth way that people block their intuition is through a lack of self-trust. When you don't trust yourself, you are less likely to listen to your intuition. This can be caused by past experiences where you didn't trust your instincts and made poor choices. To overcome this block, develop self-trust. You can do this by listening to your intuition and acting on it, in simple ways at first. Over time, you can develop greater trust in your intuition and yourself.
